RS232 to 422 Converter
 

Model LD-101 series   RS232 to RS422 Converters (Line Drivers) are used to  extend  the  signal drive  capability  of RS232 ports over a long distance.  Line drivers are used in pairs and have the capability to drive the RS232 signals over distance upto 1 KM.

Some models of LD-101 series line driver also provide Optical isolation. between signals.LD-101 is provided with a 9-pin Plug with RS-232 interface and another 9-pin   Socket   provides the  necessary  drive signal for RS 422 connection.

In addition to TX and RX signals, drive is provdied for one Handshake Line In (CTS/DSR) and One Hansshake Line Out (RTS/DTR).

Cables  to connect Computer to RS232 to RS485 converter are to  be  arranged  by  the  user,  depending on the type  of connectors provided on the user's Computer and the distance over  which  data  is  to  be  sent. Connection details for various types of RS-232 standards will be given by us along with the product.
