DDC-32 is a standalone Digital data collection unit for collecting field digital
data. It can take upto 32 digital inputs with each input having optical
isolation.0-5V or 0-12V or 0-24V DC can be connected to digital input.
DDC-32 periodically scans the digital inputs and sends the scanned data on
RS232 port. The unit can be programmed to scan the digital inputs at different
durations ranging from once in 10 ms upto 10 seconds in steps of 10 ms. Scanning
is activated/deactivated through separate START SCAN and STOP SCAN commands.
The DDC-32 reads data at specified scan period and dumps data out as a six byte
streams and a one byte header and one byte checksum.
A
separate application software which provides a GUI to interact and collect data
from DDC-32, is available. The software allows data collection and storing in a
file that can be read into EXCEL spread sheet for further analysis. A separate
DLL also is provided, to help users to integrate DDC with their application
software.
CUSTOM VERSIONS OF Digital Data Collector
can be designed to delver data on different interfaces such as Serial port/
Parallel port/ Ethernet Interfaces.

Allows selection of Mode – Automatic/Manual.
When Automatic mode is
selected, allows setting of period, in seconds, at which data is to be
collected. Collected data is stored in a table and made available on screen.
User can select to store the received data in a file of choice – either as
comma delimited file or as a XLS file. Allows date and time stamping of
data. When manual mode is selected, data is collected under user key press. |
